6/22/24 - The DeKalb County Tuskegee Alumni Club (DCTAC) has selected seven (7) winners that will receive a book scholarship for this fall academic year 2024/2025. Each student will receive $400 each for books only:

Dekalb County Tuskegee Alumni Club accept applications for Book Scholarships Awards for the following periods: FALL
Full-time sophomore, junior or senior students at Tuskegee University who are current Metro-Atlanta residents are eligible to apply.

Based on the availability of funds, Book Scholarship will be given to qualified students that meet eligibility and selection criteria.
ELIGIBILITY:
- The applicant must be a metro Atlanta area resident
- Have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5
- Must be a full time student attending Tuskegee University
- Must provide a statement explaining why they should receive the book scholarship
- Must provide a current transcript
- Must provide a current resumé
- Must complete the financial aid sections of the book scholarship application in detail.
- Must be a sophomore, junior or senior attending Tuskegee University
- Encouraged to be a member of pre-alumni council of Tuskegee University
SELECTION:
If the number of qualified applicants exceeds available awards, applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- financial need
- grade point average
- personal statement
