The club membership consist of Tuskegee Alumni and Friends who have formed a partnership that supports Tuskegee University as follows:
- Financial donations and fundraisers
- Recruiting talented students
- Community Service and Book Scholarships
Hello DCTAC Members/Friends:
It's a great day (and time period) to be a Golden Tiger; as so many wonderful things are transpiring before us.
First of all, Booker T. Washington, Tuskegee's 1st President quoted over 125 years ago that "A lie doesn't become truth, wrong doesn't become right, and evil doesn't become good; just because it's accepted by a majority." This powerful quote resonates within our society today as we continually face challenges and obstacles; however God is still good and greatly to be praised from where he's brought us from, while providing continuous daily blessings within our lives.Tuskegee Institute (now University) has and continues to bless us greatly; while continuing to be a beacon of hope in steering and educating young adults throughout the world. Tuskegee needs our help and support as a positive and strong Alumni Club; which we all can engage in a very effective way individually and collectively in advancing our University forward with our contributions.
Major highlights of our DeKalb County Tuskegee Alumni Club.(DCTAC) giving back to "Mother Tuskegee" from July 2023 thru July 2025 include:
1) $7,500 TNAA National Convention Parade of Clubs 20242) $5,000 TNAA Southeastern Regional Conference Parade of Clubs 2025
3) $4,000 DCTAC Book Scholarships (10 @ $400) 2025
4) $3,200 DCTAC Book Scholarships (8 @ $400) 2024
5) $ 500 TU Fall Open House Bus Trip 2023
6) $ 500 TU Spring Open House Bus Trip 2024
7) $ 500 TU Fall Open House Bus Trip 2024
8) $ 500 TU Spring Open House Bus Trip 2025
9) $ 250 Chik-Fil-A Meals to TU Crimson Pipers Band 2024
Our goal is to provide much more than what's highlighted in advancing Tuskegee forward this upcoming fiscal year.
Please see the attached DCTAC Membership Dues Sheet with the breakdown of how they are allocated. The 2025-2026 fiscal year dues period is from July 1st, 2025 through June 30th, 2026. Let's pause to remember how blessed we truly are; being helped and assisted with our education and career paths.
